There is no Plan B.

There will be critical moments in your life when you might have to choose between more than one option. Often, this idea that we have a choice is, in fact, an illusion.

Generally, decisions are made by people that result in the most amount of pleasure, or typically, limit any perceived suffering.

However, true freedom comes with the acceptance that we do not control as much as we think we do. Sometimes all the options are merely superfluous except for a single move.

For example, do we stay in an unhappy relationship for the sake of the kids? Hang onto our job because we have bills to pay? Why should we keep on living when it’s so tough to get through the day?

That is a good question, and Jordan Peterson answered:

  • You’ll devastate the people you leave behind.

  • You owe it to yourself — and to your family — to look at every possible alternative.

  • You’ll put a stop to all your potential.

  • Perhaps your life does not belong to you.

But the best answer is because there is no plan B.

Once you are born, there is no turning back. You can’t be unborn.

Your plan A is your master plan. If you don’t know what this master plan is, then feel free to contact me. Together we can find your destiny.

Plan A takes courage, bravery and faith in yourself.

You might surprise yourself and everyone else by discovering that suddenly, hope materialises out of nowhere.

You see an opportunity and seize it. You recognise your chance and take it and have a great win!

This idea can easily be understood if you can visualise a position from a game of chess. Without sacrifice, there can be no victory.

Take a look at the following diagram - white to move and the Knight on c3 is under attack by the Black Pawn on b4.

Where should the Knight move? A master player will know that there is only one move for white in this position. There is no plan B.

The White Knight was a Donkey on square b1. It became a Horse on square c3. How do we turn it into a shining Unicorn?

If you found the move Knight to square d5, then you are a winner. Well done. If not, your time to shine is just around the corner.
